Job summary

Ace Electric, Inc. in Georgia is seeking an Electrical Estimator to manage all aspects of electrical estimating for the division office, including analyzing blueprints, preparing cost and labor estimates, and writing proposals for diverse commercial and industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years electrical experience, preferably in industrial or commercial construction.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze blueprints and prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Ability to prepare budgets and cost reports and coordinate bid processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of electrical estimating including BOMs, takeoffs, data input, RFIs, and proposals.
• Assist senior estimator to streamline bid processes for each project.
• Analyze blueprints to prepare time, cost, materials and labor estimates.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors and project teams to resolve estimate issues.
• Prepare and maintain supplier/subcontractor directories and cost monitoring systems.
