MissionXI are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Estimator to join one of Virginia’s most innovative Data Center Design-Build, Contracting, and Facilities Management experts.

Our client is a leader in Mission Critical infrastructure, actively involved in some of the largest hyperscale, colocation, and campus builds across the US.

They operate out of Northern Virginia, fostering a culture built on integrity, honesty, and speed of execution—key qualities they seek in new team members.

Responsibilities:

• Take the lead in cost estimation for data center construction, covering materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze RFPs, prepare RFIs, and develop winning bids with unmatched cost accuracy.
• Work closely with top-tier vendors and subcontractors to secure the best pricing and partnerships.
• Identify potential risks and craft contingency plans to protect project budgets and timelines.
• Stay ahead of the curve with the latest estimating tools & industry trends.
• Mentor and develop a team, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive excellence.

Experience:

• 6-10+ years of estimating experience (electrical preferred).
• Experience in Mission Critical environments, particularly in Data Center builds or similar complex infrastructure projects.
• Deep knowledge of construction estimating, cost management, and industry best practices.
• Experience using industry-leading estimating software & tools.
• A sharp eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for precision & accuracy.
• A team-first mentality, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working for a General Contractor or Construction company, as an Estimator or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience). PMP Certification is a plus!
