The role requires 7+ years of electrical estimating experience, strong knowledge of electrical systems, and expertise with Accubid/ConEst/McCormick/Bluebeam. Manage multiple estimates and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Senior Electrical Estimator – Las Vegas, NV

Elite Executive Solutions is partnering with a leading electrical contractor in the Las Vegas market to identify an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to support the pursuit and delivery of complex commercial and multifamily electrical construction projects.

This opportunity is ideal for a highly analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating with operations and preconstruction teams, and has a proven ability to prepare competitive, accurate estimates for high-profile electrical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate estimates for commercial and multifamily electrical construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements to develop competitive proposals.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Develop conceptual budgets, design-build estimates, and value engineering recommendations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Preconstruction, and Operations teams during bid development and project handoff.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, scope reviews, and client presentations as needed.
• Identify project risks, opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
• Maintain estimating databases, historical cost information, and bid documentation.
• Support business development efforts by helping secure new projects and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical estimating experience in commercial and/or multifamily construction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and estimating best practices.
• Experience preparing estimates for projects ranging from several million dollars to large-scale electrical construction projects.
• Proficiency with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of labor productivity, material pricing, and subcontractor management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Commercial, multifamily, healthcare, hospitality, mission-critical, industrial, or mixed-use electrical construction.
• Experience with design-build, negotiated, and hard-bid projects.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination, preconstruction services, and value engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
