Job summary

gpac LLC. represents a well-established local electrical contractor in Las Vegas seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead local commercial and industrial bids and help the company win new work.

The role requires 7+ years of electrical estimating experience and a solid background in commercial/industrial electrical construction. You will independently estimate projects from plans, perform detailed takeoffs, and develop competitive proposals while coordinating with management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical estimating experience.
• Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical construction background.
• Ability to independently estimate projects from plans and specifications.
• Experience with Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimates for local commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents.
• Complete detailed material and labor takeoffs.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Develop accurate and competitive project estimates.
• Identify project risks, exclusions, and opportunities.
• Develop bid strategies and final proposals.
• Work closely with Project Management, Operations, and company leadership.
• Manage multiple estimates and bid deadlines.
• Assist with project turnover after successful bids.
