Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
15 years of electrical engineering experience within a metals or heavy manufacturing environment.
Electrical engineering experience with AC/DC Drive systems, AC/DC motor applications / maintenance / theory, control systems and automation.
Experience leading capital and expense projects in a factory environment.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

Lead the Arconic wide Electrical Engineering Network and supervise MTE engineers/techs, including succession planning and development.
Own the Corporate Standards for Electrical Systems and Electrical Safety.
Provide foundational expertise on control systems for metals production processes (rolling, coiling, leveling, strip conveyance).
Provide electrical engineering support and leadership to production operations and equipment maintenance for rolling and finishing facilities.
Support or lead problem solving for significant electrical downtime events.
Technically manage or lead projects with significant business impact or risk; provide on-site support as needed.
