Job summary

Keystone Engineering Inc in Houston is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Lead to guide design for industrial facilities, power generation, oil and gas projects. You will be a hands-on engineer providing day-to-day coordination and technical leadership.

The role emphasizes developing deliverables, coordinating with disciplines, and ensuring compliance with NFPA 70, 70E, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, API and IEC standards while mentoring junior engineers and supporting project schedules.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university or equivalent.
5–10 years of progressive electrical engineering experience in industrial facilities or related industries.
Experience with low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems.
Ability to coordinate activities with electrical designers and other disciplines.
Experience supporting multiple projects and managing schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design activities for industrial facilities, power generation, and infrastructure improvements.
Develop and review diagrams, layouts, schematics, and installation details.
Provide daily technical guidance to electrical designers and junior engineers.
Coordinate interfaces with instrumentation, mechanical, process, and other disciplines.
Ensure code-compliant, high-quality engineering deliverables and provide ongoing project support.
Support construction, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities and client reviews.
