Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• PE license required or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Substantial experience in electrical design for water/wastewater facilities.
• Experience with low- and medium-voltage distribution, lighting, UPS, and batteries.
• Knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes.
• Ability to lead multi-discipline teams and manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for design and specification of electrical systems for water and wastewater conveyance and treatment facilities.
• From planning studies to final design, lead in preparing contract documents for plans, specifications, and cost estimates for complex projects.
• Electrical systems include low- and medium-voltage power distribution, lighting, emergency power systems, UPS, and batteries.
• Apply knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, codes, and best practices.
• Manage several assignments simultaneously; mentor junior staff.
• Provide services during construction including submittal reviews, RFIs, change orders, and record drawings.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams across multiple office locations.
• Develop basis of design reports and technical memorandums.
