This role is based in Gainesville, Florida; however, we are open to qualified candidates located throughout the state of Florida, including Tampa, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and surrounding areas.

This position will require you to work independently and as part of larger multi-disciplinary teams. Duties And Responsibilities
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in the electrical discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines
  • Understand and apply discipline codes, standards, and legislation
  • Ability to complete field investigations of electrical installations
  • Ability to support local construction activities and respond to technical Requests for Information (RFI) in a timely manner
  • Power system design for municipal and industrial loads
  • Lighting design proficiency in industrial settings
  • Ability to use CAD tools (SKM, AGI32, and MicroStation)
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, showing resilience, emotional composure, and self-management
  • Ability to lead discipline teams, including engineers and technicians
  • Able to mentor and train junior team members
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (spoken and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating commitment to achieving group objectives
Here’s what you'll need
  • B.S. in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent, plus applicable registrations
  • Minimum 10+ years’ relevant industry experience preferred
  • Professional Engineering license in Florida
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience within the Water and Wastewater Market

The base salary range for this position is $115,000.00 to $170,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
