Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in buildings and preferably in water, wastewater, or industrial facilities.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in California, with ability to obtain licensure in additional states.
• Travel to client workshops, meetings, and site visits as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems including load flow, short circuit, relay coordination, arc-flash analysis, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
• Perform calculations for voltage drop, load studies, power flow, generator sizing, fault studies, and device coordination.
• Prepare design deliverables such as conceptual reports, construction plans, and CSI specifications.
• Use Revit, CAD and BIM tools to produce detailed documentation.
• Coordinate P&IDs and electrical schematics with process equipment.
• Support construction administration by reviewing submittals and RFIs.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and guide technical growth.
