Job summary

NOV is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer in Provo, UT to lead electrical design activities from concept through production. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust designs, document controls, and support certification and regulatory requirements.

The role requires hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and strong communication to support customer-facing discussions and field deployments. You will contribute to design reviews, risk assessments, and process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5–8+ years of electrical engineering experience.
Experience with schematic capture and wiring diagrams.
Knowledge of signal integrity, grounding, shielding, and EMI.

Responsibilities

Evaluate customer tools from electrical perspective including grounding and signal integrity.
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and technical reviews; communicate status and risks clearly.
Design, build, troubleshoot, and support test equipment and fixtures; perform lab and field testing.
Develop electrical systems, schematics, wiring diagrams, and component selections from concept to production.
Create and maintain engineering documentation including BOMs, harness drawings, and EC/CR packages.
Develop verification/validation plans and test fixtures; analyze results and document conclusions.
