Job summary

Volant Partners, Inc is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with a strong electrical engineering background to assist our clients in developing and deploying their products and hardware. You will author certification documentation and verify requirements traceability across electrical diagrams and schematics.

Ideal candidates have systems engineering and electrical design experience, excellent communication, and are comfortable initiating solutions in new client environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, mathematics, electrical, computer science or related technical field.
• 6+ years of engineering or consulting experience.
• Strong communication with client multidisciplinary teams to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Author technical specifications and certification docs.
• Design and certify panels used in aircraft.
• Develop high-reliability electronic hardware for aircraft.
• Review schematics to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Identify gaps between schematics and certification docs.
• Elicit, decompose, allocate and track requirements.
• Participate in process improvements.
