Job summary

ECF Engineering Consultants is seeking a senior electrical engineer to lead design efforts for complex power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems across commercial, institutional, and residential buildings. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, preparing bids, and supervising field implementation.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, have 7–10 years of experience, and are familiar with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and IBC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Electrical Professional Engineer’s license in Florida is desirable.
• 7–10 years of experience in electrical engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Design engineered electrical systems for large-scale projects across commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential buildings.
• Prepare electrical construction documents, specifications, and load calculations.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure fully coordinated designs.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 101, NFPA 70/70E, IEEE, and IBC standards.
• Provide project management, bid document preparation, and contract administration as needed.
