Job summary

Velo3D is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, validation, and documentation of electrical systems for capital equipment. The role involves independent and collaborative work across hardware, software, and process teams to ensure robust electrical architectures.

You will drive wiring harnesses, control panels, and cables, while coordinating supplier activities and supporting supply chain decisions. This position offers a competitive compensation package in the US market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Electrical Systems Design and Development.
• Experience with Solidworks Electrical 3D for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and document Electrical Systems and Components such as Cable, Wire Harness, and Control Panels.
• Propose specifications, create test plans and conduct validation for electrical systems.
• Maintain and create Electrical System Interconnect Diagram and Schematics.
• Manage supplier for prototype out-sources electrical assemblies.
• Support supply chain for End-of-life and Obsolescence electrical components.
• Provide electrical expertise to hardware/software/process, manufacturing, and field services.
