Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Framingham/Boston, MA to lead electrical design for energy efficient buildings. The role requires 8+ years in consulting engineering, with leadership, client relations, and project management responsibilities across healthcare, higher education, and K-12 sectors.

You will mentor staff, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and contribute to business development while delivering compliant, energy-efficient electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Massachusetts PE license.
• 10+ years of MEP design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system design (power distribution, lighting, controls, emergency power, UPS, renewable energy, fire alarm, low-voltage).
• Manage internal/external design and construction projects.
• Prepare/interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with owners, clients, architects, and contractors.
• Participate in business development activities.
• Mentor and guide staff engineers.
