Baird Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in undersea robotics to own the end-to-end electrical architecture for autonomous subsea systems, leading design, prototyping, testing, and production of hardware including power, embedded electronics, sensors, and control interfaces.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on electrical subsystem design experience.
• Experience with power electronics, harness design, and PCBA layout.
• Proficiency in PCB design and embedded systems for underwater applications.

Responsabilités

• Design primary electrical subsystems including power generation, storage, conversion, distribution, and protection.
• Integrate COTS components and design custom PCBA, harnesses, connectors for power electronics and sensors.
• Develop control interfaces for thrusters and motion components.
• Integrate sensors (acoustic, electro-optic, etc.) for data gathering.
• Perform FMEA and lifecycle management for electrical systems.
