Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in defense or space systems.
• Experience with military configuration management processes (SAE EIA-649C, MIL-HDBK-61A).

Responsibilities

• Document complex system-of-systems (SoS) architectures, sensors, effectors, command and control (C2) nodes, and training networks.
• Evaluate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to analyze operational impacts, interoperability risks, and performance degradation across the system network.
• Act as the technical liaison between the engineering team, government program leadership, independent testing agencies, and warfighters executing the mission.
• Participate in joint technical reviews, test events, and readiness assessments to ensure system upgrades align with user needs.
• Formulate, establish, and enforce hardware, software, and firmware configuration baselines across operational and training variations.
• Serve as a core technical guide for the Configuration Control Board (CCB), helping government stakeholders evaluate technical variations and manage configuration risk.
• Execute formal Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) to verify system delivery builds mirror authorized technical data packages.
• Manage comprehensive technical data repositories, ensuring all baseline changes are thoroughly documented and tracked.
• Requires approximately 10% travel.
