Job summary

IronMountain Solutions seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership across the Army’s long‑range precision fires and weapon systems portfolios in Huntsville, AL.

The candidate should bring 10+ years on complex DoD programs, MBSE adoption, and Agile SE practices, with hands‑on system integration, requirements management, and IPB leadership. Active TS/SCI clearance is required and travel up to 25% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or closely related STEM field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience supporting high‑value missile defense, aviation, space, or tactical weapons programs.
• Demonstrated Agile SE frameworks experience including Scrum/Kanban, TDD, BDD, DDD.
• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and alignment for Agile SE execution.
• Modernize engineering frameworks and SE plans for high‑compliance defense environments.
• Lead system‑of‑systems integration with HWIL, SIL, and physics‑based simulations.
• Manage requirements and traceability using ICDs; leverage IBM DOORS and Cameo EA.
• Mentor IPT leads and coordinate with government stakeholders and program teams.
