New Jersey Resources, through NJR Clean Energy Ventures, seeks a Sr. Electrical Engineer to lead engineering teams on solar and CHP projects. You will set program standards, oversee EPC contracts, and ensure safety, on-time delivery within budget.

Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, coordinating procurement, and supervising onsite staff, with travel 25-35%. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7-10 years of experience leading engineering and construction teams in solar/power projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or PMP preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in MS Office.
• Willingness to travel 25-35% and spend time at remote project sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities with EPC contractors to meet schedule and budget.
• Manage projects ranging from 2 MW to 150 MW with up to $150M capital value.
• Direct 1-4 concurrent projects and onsite project management staff.
• Coordinate EPC agreements for clean energy platforms and manage procurement.
• Lead a team of engineers and project professionals across projects.
• Review and approve electrical and construction engineering plans.
• Oversee major O&M outages for Clean Energy Ventures assets.
• Develop commissioning plans and testing procedures.
• Ensure permitting and interconnection processes are completed.
