Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• 8+ years in electrical engineering, defense/aerospace experience preferred.
• Experience with simulation systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Strong circuit design and power distribution knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Electrical System Design: design, analyze, and optimize electrical systems and components for AVT simulators.
• System Integration: ensure integration with mechanical, software, and hardware; perform testing.
• Requirements Analysis: translate user needs into electrical specs; feasibility studies.
• Hardware Development: design custom PCBs, wiring harnesses, power systems, and coordinate fabrication.
• Documentation and Reporting: maintain schematics, diagrams, test plans, and reports.
• Quality Assurance: apply standards and quality control for reliability and safety.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance: resolve issues during development and support deployed simulators.
• Leadership and Mentorship: guide junior engineers.
• Installation and Instruction: travel to customer sites for installation and training.
