AVT Simulation is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team in Oviedo, Florida. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the development, assembly, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and components for our simulation products. This position does not require a college degree; instead, we value hands‑on experience and practical skills in electrical engineering and technology.

Must be US citizen to acquire security clearance. Travel 20%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 2+ years as Electrical Technician in manufacturing or engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components and circuits.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment and tools.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install electrical systems and components per engineering specs.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve designs.
• Perform maintenance and calibration of electrical equipment.
• Document procedures, test results, and specs accurately.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe workplace.
• Provide technical support to team members.
