Job summary

Sedron Technologies, LLC. is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical systems for mid-sized industrial plants. The role supports FEL/FEED/Detail Design and Construction, with focus on power distribution and equipment sizing. Remote options across the US are available.

The ideal candidate will mentor engineers, collaborate across disciplines, and ensure compliance with UL508A, NFPA 79, and NEC/NFPA 70. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
• 10+ years of industry experience in electrical engineering for industrial plants, with emphasis on power distribution
• Proven expertise in power distribution systems, including switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, and protective relaying
• Deep understanding of electrical codes and standards (UL508A, NFPA 79, NEC/NFPA 70)
• Experience leading projects from concept through commissioning
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills for complex electrical and control systems
• Proficiency with industry-standard software such as SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or similar power systems analysis software; experience with EPLAN or equivalent CAD tools is a plus
• EE PE License is a plus
• Must have effective verbal, reading, and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Lead development of electrical systems for industrial plants through FEL/FEED/Detail Design and Construction phases
• Oversee the electrical scope including process equipment, controls, IT/OT/SCADA, and power distribution
• Provide technical leadership on power distribution design, including single-line diagrams and load flow studies
• Manage selection/installation of power distribution equipment across MV and LV systems
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams
