Overview

A Global Design firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join their dynamic Mission Critical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of electrical engineering practices and principles in data center design, along with the ability to conceptualize and develop solutions for complex power and electrical distribution systems. The candidate should also possess strong communication skills, the ability to write comprehensive reports, and adept problem-solving capabilities. This role requires the ability to independently resolve complex electrical engineering challenges within mission-critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including power distribution, grounding, and lighting systems
• Conceptualize and develop solutions for critical electrical infrastructure in data centers, including redundancy and resilience strategies
• Effectively convey scope, schedule, and budget to clients, co-workers, and technical teams
• Write comprehensive reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and provide innovative solutions for electrical systems
• Mentor and train junior engineers while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree (Electrical Engineering or related field) or equivalent experience
• Minimum 7 years of related industry experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
