Job summary
Novelis Davenport, IA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Plant Engineering Team. The role focuses on analyzing root causes, implementing improvements for uptime, and supporting the overall manufacturing excellence in a heavy industry setting.

Qualifications
- Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology preferred with minimum three years in an industrial environment.
- Minimum three years' experience with controls.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of SPC and Continuous Improvement principles is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Ensure alignment with safety standards and regulations.
- Evaluate and apply standard engineering practices to electrical equipment.
- Apply lean manufacturing techniques to processes.
- Collaborate with team and provide updates to management.
- Prepare and modify electrical drawings, specs, calculations, and charts.
- Lead and coordinate projects with vendors and system integrators.
- Support quality, environmental, health & safety standards and certifications.
