Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• P.E. licensure preferred.
• Proficiency with SAP, MS Office, and data tools; capable of managing projects with minimal supervision.
• Mentoring and leading engineering teams.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design moderately complex electrical systems for capital projects for all electrical distribution equipment and substation specifications.
• Support Instrumentation/Electrical Maintenance Technicians with complex field problems during project execution; assist in training and skill development for new technologies.
• Develop, review, and modify refinery electrical standards with vendors, recommendations, and NFPA codes.
• Develop turnaround work and ensure all scope is captured in the conceptual phase of projects.
• Provide calculations and settings for installations (UPS systems, motors, transformers, relays, etc.).
• Act as electrical SME for projects with electrical scope, including upgrading compressor controls and 480V motor-operated valves.
• Review and approve electrical system studies for refinery up to 138 kV; update SKM model.
• Update refinery documentation for electrical modifications (one-lines, motor schematics, relaying, substation equipment).
• Review IFA packages and direct EPCs on designs to follow Client Standards.
• Assist maintenance during unplanned events.
