Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years in electrical design.
• Familiar with IEEE, API, NEMA, NFPA, NEC standards.
• Experience with arc flash hazard mitigation in refinery contexts.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical safety, protection, and safeguarding philosophies.
• Provide leadership and design control of electrical activities.
• Lead failure analysis and causal investigations of failures or incidents.
• Approve electrical content of plant changes and installations.
• Lead electrical equipment upgrade and turnaround planning.
• Train Inspectors and Electricians and support operations.
• Collaborate with production and other stakeholders on electrical projects.
• Develop long-range plans for electrical infrastructure needs.
