Job summary

3Vi is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design for rail, transit, and facilities projects in Seattle. You will oversee power distribution, lighting, fire detection, grounding, and bonding systems, and drive technical excellence across project teams.

You will prepare and review drawings and documents, coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff while supporting proposals and site visits to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least six years of professional electrical design experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States; valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and engineering for rail, transit, and facilities projects, including power distribution, lighting, fire detection, grounding, and bonding systems.
• Prepare and review technical documents and drawings, coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and support project delivery through meetings, site visits, and proposals.
