Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years in aerospace/defense propulsion or safety-critical systems.
• 8+ years in analog/digital circuit design and hardware verification.
• 8+ years with propulsion control components (sensors, actuators, control electronics).
• Ability to translate requirements into electrical design solutions.
• 8+ years using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, DMMs, generators, data acquisition).
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical architecture, circuit designs, and interface definitions for propulsion control systems.
• Support engine control electronics, sensor/actuator interfaces, power conditioning, wiring, and signal integrity.
• Create and review schematics, requirements, interface control documents, test procedures, and analyses.
• Perform component selection, derating, tolerance analysis, and failure analysis.
• Support hardware integration, troubleshooting, verification, validation, and qualification testing.
• Collaborate with systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and test engineering teams.
• Ensure designs comply with customer requirements, standards, airworthiness, and internal processes.
• Participate in design reviews, root cause investigations, risk reduction, and corrective actions.
• Contribute to program planning, cost/schedule estimates, and engineering trade studies.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
