Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Four years of professional engineering experience, including two years as a Registered Professional Engineer.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Texas PE license or eligibility with Texas registration within one year.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of electrical engineering projects, plans, and specs.
• Manage complex projects including renewable energy considerations and water/wastewater infrastructure standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and City departments.
• Prepare calculations, cost estimates, and energy consumption analyses.
• Oversee project management activities including scope, proposals, reports, inspections, and commissioning.
• Supervise staff, provide training, enforce safety rules.
