Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our design team. The role focuses on basic designs under supervision, developing specifications, system narratives, and layouts for varied projects, and collaborating with internal and external teams.

Ideal candidates will have a PE/EIT credential, LEED AP is highly preferred, and strong REVIT/AutoCAD MEP experience. 7+ years in a consulting firm plus proficiency in design software are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an Accredited Institution.
• 7+ years of experience working in a consulting firm.
• Current PE registration, preferred; E.I.T./FE required.
• LEED AP, highly preferred
• REVIT and the latest version of AutoCAD MEP experience
• Proficient in design and calculation software.

Responsibilities

• Beginning to establish system application, design, and operational parameters / sequences under the direction of the Senior on the project
• Participating in ensuring / Oversee QA/QC process for your work and the work of others
• Assisting in the ongoing determination of project scheduling requirements, manpower requirements, and project budgets
• Performing construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects, including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports
• Assisting in processing RFI’s, Change Orders, Bulletins, and Addenda
