Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (electrical, mechanical, fire protection, or architectural).
• 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Advanced to expert proficiency in electrical engineering design, applicable codes and standards, Revit, Bluebeam, and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design from concept through completion for large-scale projects.
• Direct or oversee the preparation of design documents, system layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Develop solutions to advanced engineering problems, providing discipline-wide technical guidance.
• Mentor and coach across teams, supervising less experienced designers and engineers.
• Participate in staffing, training initiatives, and technical strategy development.
• Provide quality oversight, including final quality reviews for standards and best practices.
• Communicate with clients, resolve conflicts, and lead in answering technical questions.
• Lead or support strategic business development and maintain key client relationships.
• Serve as Engineer of Record when assigned.
