Qualifications

• Minimum of 7-15 years relevant experience with electrical power distribution engineering.
• Proven experience with design, installation, testing and commissioning for large motors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implemented systems are safe.
• Design, specify, select, and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems.
• Oversee engineering contractors and review designs.
• Interface with proposals group for preliminary design and cost information.
• Serve as a technical resource for other departments.

Skills

Experience with large industrial plant power distribution systems

Experience with Industrial Gases or petrochemical projects

Broad knowledge of electrical equipment

Experience in creating specifications for electrical equipment

Extensive experience in electrical short circuit analysis

Experience with PLC and DCS control systems

Knowledge of industry codes and standards

Willing to travel extensively

Education

Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Electrical or Power Engineering
