Job summary

ANDRITZ in Arlington, TX is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to lead multiple projects and to design and support installation, commissioning, and operations training of their sludge treatment systems, including Belt Dryers, Fluid Bed Dryers and Drum Dryers used in municipal applications.

You will interpret customer specifications, produce electrical drawings and BOMs, and coordinate with customers and project teams to ensure quality and compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 3–5 years of related experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office and electrical drawing packages.
• Experience in PLC/ HMI programming and control system design.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer specifications and translate into BOMs and electrical drawings.
• Design and support installation, commissioning and training for process controls equipment.
• Coordinate with project management and customers to resolve on-site issues.
• Generate electrical approval packages and support FAT/SAT demonstrations.
• Provide on-site start-up assistance and troubleshooting.
• Develop reports on status of job-site activities and field issues.
