Job summary

Air Liquide in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support project development and electrical design for industrial facilities. You will lead electrical scope development, labor estimates, and equipment specifications, collaborating with internal and external centers on substations, distribution, and grounding systems.

You will ensure code compliance, provide design reviews, and assist with FAT and commissioning.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer license is required.
• Minimum 7 years in electrical engineering or design in industrial/EC environments.
• Knowledge of cryogenic air separation technology and HYCO/SMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical scope and labor estimates for projects.
• Provide design requirements and technical direction for substations and distribution.
• Review equipment specs and vendor drawings with internal teams.
• Support FAT, commissioning, and field construction as needed.
• Ensure compliance with NEC/IEC/ANSI and industry standards.
