Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least five years of development experience focused on electronic power conversion products.
• Proven experience designing switch‑mode power supplies.
• Proficiency with PSpice and Mathcad.
• Experience resolving electromagnetic compatibility issues.
• Strong technical communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Hackettstown, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical responsibilities of electrical engineering projects, including design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of switch‑mode power supplies.
• Generate specifications for new research and development products.
• Use analytical tools to conceptualize and evaluate electrical designs.
• Prepare schematic diagrams and bill‑of‑material lists.
• Participate on project teams with mechanical and process engineers.
• Prepare component stress documentation, MTBF analyses, and FMEA.
• Work independently and with technicians to debug and test prototypes.
• Develop design verification test procedures and support their execution.
• Communicate with customers to align designs with applications and goals.
• Mentor junior team members in power technology and manufacturing practices.
