Quanta Power Solutions, LLC seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for power generation projects. The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering and a PE license, along with over 10 years of experience in EPC environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical engineering, preferably in EPC environments.
• Strong understanding of NEC, IEEE, and relevant codes and standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Access & Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for power generation and distribution projects.
• Produce estimate level preliminary designs and material take-offs.
• Lead development of detailed design deliverables including single-line diagrams and cable schedules.
• Conduct arc flash studies and grounding grid analysis.

Skills

Knowledgeable in electrical design software

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering
