Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead integration of electrical hardware and firmware in consumer power products. You will drive system design, verify requirements, and guide cross-functional teams through development from concept to launch.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, DFMEA/DFMEA, and collaboration with suppliers and contract manufacturers to deliver robust, high-power solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree preferred; experience with PCBA design and high-power electronics is a plus.
• Strong debugging, test planning, and DFMEA/FMEA capability required.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level electrical design and integration across hardware and firmware.
• Develop verification procedures and drive design reviews and risk assessments.
• Perform root-cause analysis and provide corrective actions for issues in development and manufacturing.
• Oversee prototype testing, validation, and design adjustments for safety and performance.
• Create and maintain Schematics, BOMs, and Statements of Requirements (SOR).
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with internal and contract teams.
