Job summary

J-U-B ENGINEERS, located in Kennewick, WA, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager to lead municipal, industrial, and commercial electrical design and project delivery. You will manage scope, schedule, cost, and client relations across water, wastewater, SCADA, lighting, and airport facilities.

The role requires a PE with 8+ years of post-licensure experience, strong problem-solving, and mentoring abilities.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer with 8+ years of post-licensure experience.
• Experience in design, construction management, startup, and commissioning services.
• Knowledge of electrical power system modeling; ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower is a plus.
• Working knowledge of electrical construction techniques.
• Ability to communicate technical information to clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform project scoping, scheduling, and cost estimating.
• Perform short circuit, load flow, and relay coordination studies.
• Develop one-lines, plan drawings, cable schedules, interconnection drawings and schematics.
• Interact with contractors, clients, and facility operators.
• Read and interpret control system, construction, and installation drawings.
• Develop equipment and construction specifications.
• Provide field evaluation, electrical investigations and on-site construction support.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior staff.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines within the firm.
• Lead business development activities and develop proposals for professional services.
