Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in New York, NY, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer-Project Manager with strong electrical design experience and a minimum of three years in project management. The role focuses on healthcare, aviation/transportation, or critical facilities projects within a global engineering context.

The ideal candidate will lead design efforts, develop reports, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
• 7–10 years' experience in a consulting firm with an MEP focus.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Hands-on design and CAD/REVIT experience required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Firm in interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and project team members.
• Design large projects, prepare reports and specifications, and provide high-level technical leadership.
• Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects.
• Supervise preparation of reports and analysis of system options and building conditions.
• Maintain interdisciplinary coordination with other trades/projects consultants.
• Monitor all staff correspondence with clients, contractors, and owners.
• Supervise construction administrative duties such as field reports and RFIs.
