Job summary

Riot Platforms, Inc. through its E4A Solutions subsidiary seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer, PE to lead electrical project design, coordination, and execution for industrial facilities.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering within an engineering and design consulting environment. You will develop scopes, schedules, and budgets; design MV/LV systems; create substation diagrams; mentor staff; and support field commissioning and arc-flash

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• 10+ years in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls engineering within an engineering/design consulting environment.
• Proficiency with SKM or ETAP power study software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work, budgets, and schedules.
• Design and specify medium- and low-voltage transformers and MCCs.
• Plan and execute power distribution systems for industrial facilities.
• Create one-line diagrams and specifications for LV, MV, and HV substations (up to 500kV).
• Establish electrical area classifications and grounding design.
• Design protection relay and PLC control cabinets.
• Develop lighting and lightning protection plans.
• Coordinate cross-discipline design details and review drafter work.
• Prepare engineering reports, calculations, and drawings.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
