SST Direct has a Direct Hire opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) to join its engineering team. You will develop electrical system designs, produce drawings and specifications, and support projects from conceptual design through construction.

Qualified candidates hold a PE license, have 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering, and are proficient with CAD and 3D modeling. Relocation to approved locations may be required; remote relocation not offered.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of professional electrical experience.
• Active PE license required.
• Experience developing electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and system designs.
• Proficiency with CAD and electrical design/modeling tools.
• Experience with construction administration, shop drawing reviews, RFIs, and site coordination.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations through all design phases.
• Evaluate electrical system designs, calculations, and analytical models.
• Review deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, and scope compliance.
• Apply electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices to engineering designs.
• Lead construction administration activities, including RFIs and site visits.
• Utilize CAD and 3D modeling to develop and coordinate drawings and models.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, modelers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Support project management with cost tracking, scope management, and risk evaluation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and continued technical development.
