Job summary

Actalent is seeking a senior electrical engineer to provide support for existing products, production issues, and field issues. You will independently troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic failures, perform PCBA/component-level analysis, and support obsolescence management and design changes.

The role requires collaboration with Mechanical, Software, and Operations teams in a contract-based environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level electrical engineering support for existing products, production issues, and field issues.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic failures and determine root cause.
• Support PCBA/component end-of-life and obsolescence issues.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate electrical designs and corrective actions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve product and manufacturing issues.
• Support prototype builds, beta builds, manufacturing activities, and related engineering documentation.
