Job summary

Actalent is seeking a design verification and hardware troubleshooting engineer to support robotic systems in a hands-on lab setting. You will diagnose hardware issues on digital circuit boards, implement small schematic changes, and coordinate PCB layout updates using Cadence Allegro.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and about 2–3 years of board-level electronics experience, with daily onsite work and proficiency with essential lab equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering required.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on board-level electronics experience.
  • Proficiency with standard lab equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute design verification testing (DVT) and troubleshoot digital circuit boards for robotic systems in a lab environment.
  • Identify hardware failures and implement modest schematic changes.
  • Coordinate PCB layout updates in Cadence Allegro.
