AdAstra Talent Advisors is sourcing Senior Electrical Engineers for a high‑impact, on‑site role in Los Angeles. You will own one lane of a three‑lane hardware stack, designing and validating rugged power and control electronics for a defense tech startup poised for rapid field deployment.

You will independently drive architecture, perform board bring‑up, and shepherd designs toward production with vendors and制造 partners; candidate must excel under tight LW/PP and high‑reliability requirements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical design experience for deployed systems.
• Schematic capture and multilayer PCB layout experience.
• Willingness to support field testing and sea trials.

Responsabilités

• Own architecture and tradeoffs with incomplete information.
• Create schematics and multilayer PCB layouts.
• Board bring‑up in lab with embedded software and root‑cause debugging.
• Develop validation test plans and execute them.
• Conduct field testing and sea trials.
• Take designs to production with vendors and fabs.
