WECTEC Staffing Services in New Stanton, PA is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer on a contract or contract-to-hire basis to lead Eagle Hardware Systems across multiple projects. The role involves digital and analog hardware design, technical leadership, and supporting legacy Eagle Safety Systems used in nuclear instrumentation control.

Ideal candidates will mentor engineers, manage complex projects, and produce thorough technical documentation while driving quality and delivery.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in hardware engineering leadership.
• Expertise in digital and analog hardware design.
• Ability to mentor and influence engineering teams.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Proven track record leading complex engineering projects.
• Experience resolving complex system issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware engineering design, analysis, and problem solving.
• Provide technical leadership across design, development, and delivery.
• Support legacy Eagle Safety Systems and obsolescence mitigation.
• Troubleshoot customer technical issues, including remote support.
• Mentor senior and junior engineers and develop team capability.
• Coordinate cross-team efforts for integration and delivery.
• Manage project schedules, resources and deliverables.
• Develop and review technical documentation for products.
• Lead problem solving for Eagle MultiBus Systems.
• Create procedures and methods to meet technical requirements.
• Prepare and present project updates and product promotions.
