Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for NPIs, based in Newark, DE, with 10% travel. You will oversee NPI transfers to Bloom Manufacturing and manage interconnect schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.

The role requires hands-on leadership of an electrical team, development of test fixtures, BOMs, ECNs, and ensuring manufacturability. Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering or New Product Introduction.
• Experience developing schematics and wire harness CAD using AutoCAD.
• Ability to independently manage projects in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in rapid scale up of new products.
• Knowledge of analog/digital circuits, power devices, magnetics, control systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage NPI Project transfers to Bloom Manufacturing and CM’s.
• Lead electrical team and communicate clearly with internal and external vendors.
• Develop interconnect wiring diagrams, schematics, harness drawings and test procedures.
• Develop and manage BOMs, ECNs, Deviations, and test requirements.
• Develop test equipment from concept to commissioning and train manufacturing personnel.
