Hologic, Inc. in Newark, DE is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, NPD to design and advance electronics for our imaging systems.

This hands-on role requires onsite work with test equipment, prototypes, and cross-functional teams to deliver life-saving medical technology. You will own electrical design work from concept through verification, collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams, and mentor junior engineers while driving continuous improvement and cost/quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Typically 5–8+ years of electrical/electronic design experience.
• Experience in FDA-regulated medical device or similarly regulated industry is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot PCBs, power distribution, cables, and harnesses for medical imaging products.
• Own portions of the electrical design process from concept to transfer and support manufacturing and field service.
• Specify, test, and verify electronic components to meet product requirements and regulatory standards.
• Build prototypes, test fixtures, and define test methods to qualify designs.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing and service issues, driving root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
