Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and validate electrical systems for innovative drinking water products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, compliant solutions across filtration, dispensing, and connected platforms.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, prototyping, testing, and documentation, with a focus on safety, performance, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience in product development or consumer/commercial products.
• Strong knowledge of circuit design, PCB layout, power electronics, sensors, and connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems, circuits, and components for new drinking water products, including filtration, dispensing, and connected solutions.
• Develop system architecture, schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams to support new product platforms.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, performance, and regulatory standards (UL, FCC, CE, NSF, etc).
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and software engineers to deliver integrated product designs.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and design validation activities.
• Analyze and troubleshoot electrical issues, implementing corrective actions as required.
• Partner with suppliers and manufacturing to drive component selection, cost optimization, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Participate in project planning, milestone reviews, and cross-functional design reviews.
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, specifications, and test reports.
• Stay current with emerging technologies to drive innovation in connected and sustainable water delivery solutions.
