Job summary

Audubon is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Canonsburg, PA office. You will design equipment and systems, develop specifications, and review vendor drawings while coordinating with clients and suppliers.

The role involves leading multi-discipline projects, performing complex calculations, ensuring safety and HSSE standards, and managing schedules and budgets. A PE-licensed, ABET-accredited candidate with 6+ years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required or preferred.
• Electrical engineering background with knowledge of NEC/NEMA/IEEE codes preferred.
• Field experience and multi-discipline project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare intermediate to advanced level specifications for projects detailing performance requirements, components, and vendor drawings.
• Prepare sketches, perform calculations and develop analysis models for complex projects.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance and interact with clients, subcontractors and vendors.
• Plan, manage workload, budgets and resources; lead medium to large multi-discipline projects when required.
• Develop design packages, provide guidance on design control procedures and ensure PE sealing responsibilities are met.
