Job summary

RK Industries, LLC in Aurora, CO is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, integrate, and execute electrical power distribution for modular product applications. You will lead project-level electrical design, ensuring code compliance, reliability, and manufacturability across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include leading design for data centers and electrical skids, developing schematics and layouts, coordinating BMS integration, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
• Master’s degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for modular infrastructure projects including data centers, power modules, e-houses, and electrical skids.
• Develop and review single-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring layouts for AC/DC systems.
• Design and coordinate integration of BMS, controls, and auxiliary systems within modular electrical solutions.
• Use AutoCAD, Revit, and related tools to produce detailed electrical layouts and construction drawings.
• Specify electrical components including transformers, switchgear, panelboards, busways, and cable systems.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to review submittals and ensure design intent is met.
