Job summary

RK Industries, LLC in Aurora, CO seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to advance modular power and data center production. You will partner with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure DFMA alignment and define tooling and workflow for safe, efficient manufacturing.

You will document work instructions, maintain BOMs and routings in the ERP system, and drive FPY improvements through lean initiatives and root-cause investigations. On-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering, preferably in modular, prefabricated, or electromechanical assembly environments.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for BOM management, routings, and production tracking.
• Experience with DFM/DFMA methodologies and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Support DFMA considerations during product development.
• Develop and document assembly, integration, and test processes for modular products.
• Review shop drawings and documentation for alignment with layouts and sequencing.
• Design and implement tooling, fixtures, jigs, and material-handling solutions.
• Maintain manufacturing BOMs, routings, and workstation sequencing in ERP.
• Participate in lean initiatives and standard work development.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and work instructions.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to improve FPY and cycle time.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Support pilot builds and process validation activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
